We have a tree in our yard that blooms with a bunch of small purple flowers. Some of those flowers bud directly off of the branch, which I captured here.

Fallen Tree in Front Yard
When we returned home from work yesterday, we were saddened to find that the tree in our front yard had split in two. We’re rather puzzled on how it happened as there was neither a storm or heavy winds. We really liked this tree and are going to miss the privacy it offered us.
