Behind me is the Cathedral Metropolitana. I’m sitting in the Plaza de Armas, Santiago’s historic center.
Getting here was rather painless. Indy to Dallas to Santiago. I arrived at 8 am and managed to check in for my 4 pm flight to Easter Island. This means I was able to check my bag, giving me the freedom to explore the city for four hours.
So I took a bus into the city and here I am.
