After a long day of travel — heading to the Cairo airport at 1:30 am — we are finally back in Indianapolis. Made for a 31-hour Xmas day.

It’s 3:30 am in Cairo on Christmas day and we are about to begin our long journey home. Egypt was great, we are tired, and will soon post photos a few days from now. Happy holidays.

After spending eight days cruising the Nile river near Luxor it is time to fly back to Cairo. Tomorrow we visit Memphis and end the day — and our Egypt tour — at the Pyramids of Giza. We’ve taken thousands of photos and have visited about a dozen ruins. It’s been great.

Arrived to Cairo last night. Spent first day visiting a mosque and the Egyptian museum. Tonight we attend a light show at the pyramids of Giza.
