This weekend I finished the audio book “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Erich Maria Remarque, a German veteran of World War I. I’m so glad I’ve never had to personally endure the trials of war; particularly all of the front-line hand-to-hand combat that was described with such disturbing detail in this book.

Correct…………..your generation has been very fortunate not to have been thrust into military service. All the more reason to appreciate those who have and who are protecting our freedoms. Your audio book plan is affording you the opportunity to explore worlds well beyond your daily experiences. Nice!
