A new friend of mine, who happens to drive a BMW, sent me this story. As an Audi driver, I have to agree.

The survey of 2,253 motorists age 20 to 50 showed that BMW drivers have sex an average of 2.2 times a week, followed by Audi drivers who reported having sex 2.1 times a week. Volkswagen drivers ranked third in the survey, having sex an average of 1.9 times a week. The survey was done by German car magazine Men’s Car, which launched its inaugural issue this month.

It’s great moving to a city where you already know folks. Today I had a chance to catch up with two friends. Clark Crowell, one of the best volleyball setters I’ve ever had the good fortune to play with, stopped by my office just to say hi. And Brian Durand, a former Lambda Chi staffer met me out for dinner. Good times, great oldies.

It needs to be said: “Rob Zajdel (aka Papa Smurf) is the man for letting me crash on his couch when I arrived to Indianapolis.” And his wife Barb cooks a mean hamburger. Thanks guys.

Jenn Griggs also deserves koodos for picking me up at the Penski lot after getting her hair done. Thanks Jenn.

It’s nice to have friends in town.

Today was my last day of employment at Gourad Media Group. Thanks Khalid (my boss) for the opportunity. I wish you, the team, and your clients the best of success.

My upcoming plan for the next two weeks is as follows:

• Thursday, Apr 15: Last day of work
• Sunday, Apr 18: Load the truck and begin the drive to Indianapolis
• Monday, Apr 19: Spend all day driving, Audi in tow
• Tuesday, Apr 20: Close on the condo in the morning, wait for current owner to move out
• Wednesday, Apr 21: If owner moves out by afternoon, I’ll begin moving in
• Thursday, Apr 22: Finish moving and return the truck
• Monday, Apr 26: Might begin new job, though I’m not scheduled to start until May
