Jupiter via Butler’s Holcomb Observatory

Last night, Jenny and I went to Butler’s Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium to see Jupiter. I have never looked through a telescope this big. Though Jupiter didn’t look quite a big as the image pictured here, we were able to see five of its moons.
LA Film Festival Arrival

Jenny and I arrived to LA this morning for the LA Film Festival. My brother’s film, The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell, makes its world debut tonight at midnight at the Majestic Crest Theater in Westwood.
Standing in the Pits
Posted Saturday, May 27th, 2006 at 10:56 amLambda Chi Alpha’s Cross & Crescent magazine is doing a story on Lee Szczpski (Embry-Riddle 2000). Lee invited co-worker Chris Barrick and I to watch him work in the garage and in the pits on Carburation Day at the Indianapolis 500 (photos). Here, driver Jaques Lazier pulls in for a practice pit stop. Lee is the young guy on the stand with all of the computers, shown at the end of the video.
