Jupiter via Butler’s Holcomb Observatory

Last night, Jenny and I went to Butler’s Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium to see Jupiter. I have never looked through a telescope this big. Though Jupiter didn’t look quite a big as the image pictured here, we were able to see five of its moons.

Lee invited co-worker Chris Barrick and I to watch him work in the garage and in the pits on Carburation Day at the Indianapolis 500 (photos). Here, driver Jaques Lazier pulls in for a practice pit stop. Lee is the young guy on the stand with all of the computers, shown at the end of the video.
