The visuals here are incredible

Posted Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 at 11:22 am

Found a kind review about my brother’s work on the upcoming film “The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell (IMDB).”

“The visuals here are incredible. The cinematography is far better than you would expect from a small budgeted independent. Cameron Pearce really makes some amazing things happen working within the limitations of a small budget and tight schedule.” — Magnificent Bastard via www.cybermonkeydeathsquad.com

“The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell” his theaters this October. I’ll likely post more about this in the coming weeks.

Grandfathers Honored

This summer, my two deceased grandfathers both received some honors.

John Cameron

My grandfather John Cameron (aka “Popsi”) served as the athletic director for Louisburg College from 1937 to 1942. This month he will be one of eight inducted in the inaugural class into the Louisburg College Athletic Hall of Fame. My uncle, Dr. John Cameron, is the school board chairman.

E. P. Pearce

My other grandfather E P Pearce (aka “Pawpaw”) had an elementary school named after him. E.P. Pearce Elementary, located at 2006 Pleasant Ridge Rd in Greensboro, NC 27410, opened its doors this fall. My grandfather served as the superintendent of Guilford County Schools from 1959 to 1978. To top if off, my dad’s architectural firm PBC+L did the design.
