Standing in the Pits

Lambda Chi Alpha’s Cross & Crescent magazine is doing a story on Lee Szczpski (Embry-Riddle 2000). Lee invited co-worker Chris Barrick and I to watch him work in the garage and in the pits on Carburation Day at the Indianapolis 500 (photos). Here, driver Jaques Lazier pulls in for a practice pit stop. Lee is the young guy on the stand with all of the computers, shown at the end of the video.

The CFEA conference this year was held in Memphis. Lambda Chi Alpha placed in two awards, I gave a workshop on embracing electronic distribution, and I was re-elected to the board, this time as secretary. As a reward, a few of us went to a baseball game before catching our evening flights.

Xbox 360 Blog

To my surprise, my Xbox 360 decided to create its own blog. Every day, it goes online and comments on what I played, and sometimes, how well I played.

Of course, my Xbox 360 really isn’t sentient. 360Voice.com simply reads information from my gamertag and creates a blog for my Xbox.

Threshold at LA Film Festival

Sounds like my brother’s movie “The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell” will be included in the Los Angeles Film Festival line-up. Looks like I’ll be making a trip out to LA either the weekend of June 24-25 or July 1-2. Cameron has posted three trailers for the film online for you to enjoy.
