The main host for the weekend is always George Spasyk. George is a former executive vice president of Lambda Chi Alpha. He holds about 80 or 90 race tickets, which he reserves for staff and their guests.

On Monday, George and some of his guests were featured in the Indianapolis Star.

Rookie and veteran fans, too
By Rebecca Neal

For some, attending the Indianapolis 500 is a yearly tradition.

Others pass through the gates for the first time unsure of what to expect.

They all came to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, however, to see "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."
